Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers. Aroma of dark fruits, roasted malts, chocolate and hints of coffee. A bit carbonated and a touch watery. The fruity roasted chocolate notes come through on the taste. Decent.

(Can) Pours clear red tinted deep brown with tiny off white head. Nice aroma of cherries with notes of smoke. Smooth medium body with plenty of fine bright carbonation. Excellent taste - lots of cherries, toffee, dark roast grains and burnt sugar notes. Very enjoyable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 23/09/21. Murky mahogany brown with a moderate khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is cocoa powder, red berry fruits, light roast, blackcurrants, hint of cherry. Taste comprises chocolate, berry compote, light roast, red berry skins, light astringent bitterness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout ... pulls off the chocolate berry cake shizzle but comes over a touch thin overall.

2/9/2021. Bottle from the Real Ale Shop, Wells. First Wildcraft Wild beer which didn't explode like a volcano on opening. Poured dark cherry brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, cherry, black forest gateaux, roasted malt, vanilla, light woody notes. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, quite fizzy carbonation. Some stewed fruits and metallic notes to finish. Eight and best I've had from this brewery so far.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - most previous beers from Wildcraft have been gushers, so this one is opened over the sink. It's fine. Deep brown to black. Fawn head. Nose - black cherry and blackberry with a creamy chocolate backdrop. Taste - more black cherry and dark chocolate this time. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Decent balance on the finish. Overall - good beer.
