Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of apples, funk, woody and earthy. Taste although smooth was a little metallic and a bit tasteless other than a hit of alcohol. Not really for me.

500 ml clear bottle, from Seven Cellars. Batch C89, produced October 2017, bottled March 2019. ABV is 8.4%. Deep golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a shortlived white head. Distinct and pleasant aroma of cider apples and oak, a hint of sulphites. Slightly dry flavour, again cider apples and oak, tannins and sulphites in the finish.

750ml bottle. 7.4% Batch C31 2016, from Fram Ferment. Orange gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity apple, earthy, funky, mucky hint. Taste is bittersweet apple, fruity, tangy, some leathery funk, orchardy, with mucky hints, woody oak notes and drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
