A style that's not really made its way over to the UK yet, but the Brother's Alex at S43 and Full Circle locked horns and came up with this big hitting IPA. Expect sticky, chewy toffee and caramel flavours from the malt, offset by a huge hop bill of Columbus, Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe for a bitterness as dry as the desert planet of Tattooine, and some Citrus and Pine notes to bring it all Full Circle (Pun Intended).

Sample courtesy of Grumbo via Ed. Cheers! Aroma is of toffee, caramel, pine, hints of tropical fruit and citrus. Taste of toffee, caramel and malts as advertised. Certainly does dry the mouth but unpleasant After a while the citrus and tropical fruits come through. Love the name, love the description and love the beer. Nothing more to be said.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 1 week past BBE. Pours a murky red-brown, small off white to beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, toffee, light roast, earthy-pine and some fruitiness in the hops. Taste has a pine bitterness, sweet caramel like malts, citrus zest and dried fruit. Full bodied, chewy, dry. Very good, tasty.

Can. Color: Clear orange-brown amber, frothy yellowish beige head. Aroma: Hoppy, sweetish caramel / toffee, fruity notes. Taste: Over moderate bitter, grassy and some pine hop, citrus and orange notes, hints of dark fruit, quite strong caramel notes. Lightly sticky and dry-ish and pretty dense mouthfeel. Over moderate sweet. Long lasting sweetish and fruity finish with bittery palate. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Nice.
