Double-malted white beer with 30% wheat malt. This « Grand Crû » type white beer has an alcohol content of 7%. Sweet orange peel, lemon and ginger are added in the final boiling stage and during the lagering process in the fermentation tanks. These ingredients lend a note of citrus and spice, whereas the ginger, evocative of lemongrass, leaves an intense and racy flavour. The beer is slightly peppery but develops an aftertaste of freshness. No wonder we have decided to propose this beer in winter.

Hazy orange color with small white head. Spicy yeasts, orange peel, Wit smell. A bit bretty. Taste is more spice and oranges. Bitter finish with a hint of sourness. Smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and better than their other winter beer. Not too great either though.

750 ml bottle. God this was a gusher, slow fizzy head that took like five minutes to die before I could drink it. Aroma is ginger root and light fruit. The flavor is a mix of sour and tart. Decent balance. Real drinkable for a guy that doesn’t slam back sours. Body is effervescent ... Go figure, soild overall.

Botte, 75cl, at Baran. It’s an unclear, yellowish golden beer topped by a big, creamy, white head leaving lacings. The aroma is lightly funky, with citrus peel, some lime and a light coriander seed touch. The flavor too is a bit funky, with a nice bitterness, a little sour touch and citrus peel and some coriander. Yeast hints. A bit heavy on the carbonation, but in a nice way. A bit thin on the palate. A very refreshing and nice beer indeed. 140906

Draught at Pibar, Lausanne
Hazy pale blond color with generous fluffy head. Very nice aroma: Bretts, lemon, lactic acid, oranges, spices, a bit feety. Highly carbonated, smooth, rather dry, with fresh herbal touch, sage; correct bitterness, with light final astringency.
Fresh and excellent. Easy drinkable.
