This lush, smooth and indulgent stout is to be enjoyed with all the trappings of winter. A big velvety body is layered with chocolate, caramel and coffee malt flavours further enhanced by deep ginger, warming nutmeg and fragrant cardamom.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Black brown colour, beige foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of spices, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom with rich malt. Taste is sweetish, dark malty, chocolate, zingy spiced, nutmeg, cardamom, and earthy nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry nutty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 18/04/21. Mid black pour with a khaki cap. Nose is dark malts, winter cheer, nutmeg, spice rack, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises dusty fruits, chocolate sprinkle, ginger, mixed spice, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff ... does what it says on thin tin but wouldn't want to drink a whole load of it.

10/4/2021. Can shared with SHIG at the Suffolk North Eastern Beer Out In Car Park Meetup. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear, close to black, with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of nut, ginger, cardamom, dried fruits, chocolate, malt, slight ash. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average carbonation. Lovely spiced notes to this, just lacked a bit of depth.
