An antithesis to all the comforting and rich indulgence winter often brings, this WitBier is an unadulterated classic of zest and delicate spice. Large doses of lemon peel and corriander makes this beer sing, while the hallmark phenolic flavours and round body make it an easy session ale.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Yellowy golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of spice, lemony lime citrus, grains. Taste is wheaty, with lemon-lime, citrus rind, coriander, spiced, yeasty, some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. Quite OK

10/4/2021. Can shared with SHIG at the Suffolk North Eastern Beer Out In Car Park Meetup. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, coriander, yeast, herbs, boiled fruit sweets and grass. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, fizzy carbonation. Nice taste but the fizz was a bit off-putting.
