A refreshing, medium dry sparkling cider, rounded in flavour and packed with character from a blend of Dabinett and Harry Masters Jersey cider apples.
Did you know? The word ‘Calculus’ was derived from the Latin for ‘small pebble’ – once used in counting.
We calculated to get quality cider you need quality apples, handpicked from our family farm in Dorset. Refreshing and full bodied – it’s cider you can count on.
But we’ve left it for you to put the theory to the taste.

500ml bottle from Corks of Cotham. Golden in colour, with no head but plenty of fizziness. Rich, apple aroma with a hint of woody core and yeasty peel. Easy drinking, with lots more fruit starting with some sweetness before a fuller dryness kicked in. A quaffable cider.

500ml bottle. Clear gold appearance, pleasant fruity nose, taste is crisp, accessible medium dry, nicely fruity with a subtle tannin on the finish. Good stuff if a little middle of the road.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Golden colour, short-lived foamy white head and aroma of mucky, apple, fruity. Taste is fruity, apple, mellow, some skin, funky hint, with light tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium dry tannic finish. Quite OK
