Bottle. Yellowish golden colour, tiny white head. Aroma is apple, some mild wooden and a bit funky and yeasty tones to it. Flavour is kind of funky, a bit spicy, some green apples and sweeter apples as well as some dry wooden elements. Interesting.

Clear 500ml bottle from Hecks own place in Street. Never heard of Porters Perfection apples but this was an OK dry cider.

500ml bottle from Orchard Explorers. Pale yellow gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity, alittle funk. Taste is tart, tangy apple, some skin, with fruit, funk, acidic and tannic. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry bittersharp finish. Quite drinkable.

Rerate 26/7/2023. From the barrel at Heck's Cider Farm/ Clearer than before, with less sweetness and a more fruity edge. Better for it [3.3] From a bag in a box at the Portcullis cider festival, Clifton, Bristol 12/08/10. Cloudy yellow in colour and still. Dryish, musty fruit aroma. Very light and easy drinking, with plenty of sweetish juice, with a slightly more dry finish. A bit dull. [2.7]

From cask at Three Judges as Portias Perfection (to avoid confusion to a porter). Pours hazy yellow with a fully gone head. Light barnyard and dry phenolic aroma. Light smoked and solid phenolic flavoured with a distinct dryness an the smoke coming up from the back of the nose. Ends dry and acidic with a light apple dryness.
