75cl bottle. Clear golden yellow appearance. Oaky vanilla hints to the aroma. Lovely smokey woody whisky suggestions as per the box I trued 2 years ago, some vanilla oak, natural fruit, lovely carbonation. Very good. Great to see cider being made locally in the Shropshire Hills.

22/4/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers! Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is woody, peaty, rich apple, caramel. Medium sweetness and light tartness, with lots of peat to taste. Medium body, average carbonation. Peat is dominant and I’m not a peat fan so this one didn’t do much for me.

750ml bottle from Scrattings. Golden colour, no head and aroma of tangy whisky barrel, phenolic. Taste is fruity apple with wood barrel oak, tar, smoke, peat, phenol, along with some bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
