500ml bottle from cidery. Look - clear gold, brief white head; standard stuff. Nose - apple juice, apple skins, wood; has that vintage edge. Taste - sweet funky apples, barnyard, tannins, sour apple juice. There are a few layers to this. Palate - medium body, slight syrupy with gives a nice smoothness but overly carbonated to the point of being near frothy on the palate. Overall - good take on a vintage but not quite there.

14/2/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear bright gold with minimal head. Aroma of sweet apples, caramel, touch of funk and tannins. Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet toffee apple finish.

500ml bottle from Crafty Merlin's, Darlington. Golden colour, white foamy head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity apple, along with skin and core notes. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, some apple core, slight solventy funk hints and alittle earthy tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.
