Hop-forward and San Diego inspired, this is our brewers’ homage to their local craft beer corridor. Uniquely floral and fruity notes from Warrior, Cascade and El Dorado hops mingle with a hint of crystal malt to build flavors of melon and a lingering grassy bitterness. Well-bittered and dry-hopped, 30th Street is a Pale Ale bold enough to suit the palates of hop heads in the land of sunshine and IPA.

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size, shared with Abijen & MarcodL. Hazy orange color. Dense white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: resin, citrus, tropical fruit, nicely balanced. Retronasal the citrus is more noticable, light sour, light sweet. Flavor is bitter with light sourness. Medium bodied. Finishes rather dry, but not very bitter.

Small bottle bought at Bottle Jockey. Pours a hazy golden with a quite weak white head. Aroma: semi-sweet, piney, tropical fruits, malty, with notes of flowers. Taste: piney, grassy bitterness. Tart aftertaste. Decent one.

Unclear, amber colored, small+ off white head, not lasting. Aroma is of caramel malt, orange hard candy, floral, citrus and fruits. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, fruity and grassy, citrusy medium hoppiness, some orange hardcandy notes, medium to strong bitterness, dry finish, lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, resiny. Bitterness is still on the level but hoppiness is dying in this bottle. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

From bot this has a penetrating ipa perfume aroma. Looks like a slightly darker than pale hazy ale. Not as strong as expected hop impact. Resinous and almost approaches ipa territory, walks the line and almost steps in. Like many ipa this lacks co2 but I can almost detect it. Yes, resinous feel begins to override as the session continues. Almost becomes mouth coating. A little difficult for a lager lover in the end.

Clear amber, bit of foam. Aroma malty with a fresh herbal hop kick. Taste is intensely bitter. Clean, green and grassy. Dry bitterness lingers for long. Feels almost sessionable although body is there and probably not so light. Decent resins-full IPA. Or wait... APA? Really?
