Hop-forward and San Diego inspired, this is our brewers’ homage to their local craft beer corridor. Uniquely floral and fruity notes from Warrior, Cascade and El Dorado hops mingle with a hint of crystal malt to build flavors of melon and a lingering grassy bitterness. Well-bittered and dry-hopped, 30th Street is a Pale Ale bold enough to suit the palates of hop heads in the land of sunshine and IPA.

Bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that dissipates almost instantly. Aromas of caramel, pine resin, grapefruit and orange. Taste is very similar with good bitterness. Lots of orange on the finish. I like it.

Bottle. Deep gold/orange body. Frothy white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, floral hops, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of floral bitterness, grapefruit, light resin and light green hops. Nothing unique about this. OK.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Glass lacing thin white/off-white head. Doughy brewhouse, classic NW orange-grapefruit aroma. Clean, but has some enjoyable hop depth. A really well done Pale Ale.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 12/19/2015. Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, robustness, and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good pale ale. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
