Hop-forward and San Diego inspired, this is our brewers’ homage to their local craft beer corridor. Uniquely floral and fruity notes from Warrior, Cascade and El Dorado hops mingle with a hint of crystal malt to build flavors of melon and a lingering grassy bitterness. Well-bittered and dry-hopped, 30th Street is a Pale Ale bold enough to suit the palates of hop heads in the land of sunshine and IPA.

(Bottle) Clear pale amber, good white head. Intense and pleasant aroma with pineapple, citrus and pine. Medium body with gentle smooth carbonation. Taste starts with a nice balance of light caramel and pine and pineapple. A distinct and very pleasant hoppy bitterness develops for a long finish. A good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Finally nailed a fresh bottle of this. Custom 12oz bottle pours with a hazy deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a tan head. The aroma offers up malt sweetened pineapple that has a citrus gummy bear feel as well as a bit of an herbal thing going on in the background. The taste is full with malts, some biscuity sort of roasted malts and then sweetened pineapple running into bitter tangelo. To midway it picks up floral soft hoppiness amid the malts and fruity hops. Darn tasty Pale where it becomes more floral as it warms.

Mild herber, runder und vollmundiger Hopfenbeginn. Grasig, spritzig bitter. Die Hopfigkeit rückt hinter die Bitterkeit, das Bier bleibt aber harmonisch. Süffig, gut. 11/11/9/10/11/10

Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Clear, light orangey yellow with near-white head. Aroma of light biscuit malt and grassy hops. Taste has a bit of sweet citrusy malt and floral hops with a piney finish.

Bottle at home. Hazy amber with a lasting white head. Strong hoppy aroma of pine, with floral notes, grass and citrus, along with a touch of bready malt. Dry, quite malty flavour with lovely hop character and a good, firm bitterness in the finish. I failed to find a best before/bottling date, but it tastes like this is just past it’s prime and could be even better on tap in California...

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, lasting, white head. Very fusty, minty, herbal, orange hop. Bit of banana sweet, which is fine by me. Taste is fusty bitter. Fairly dry. Full palate. A little greasy. Herb oiliness. Finishes light dry, and long, resinous, bitter. Very nice. I’d put this at 8%, if I didn’t know better. Big and tasty.
