Hop-forward and San Diego inspired, this is our brewers’ homage to their local craft beer corridor. Uniquely floral and fruity notes from Warrior, Cascade and El Dorado hops mingle with a hint of crystal malt to build flavors of melon and a lingering grassy bitterness. Well-bittered and dry-hopped, 30th Street is a Pale Ale bold enough to suit the palates of hop heads in the land of sunshine and IPA.

Bottle at home, a couple of months past expiry date. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus, orange, biscuity malt, tangerine, hint of pine resin. Flavour is a bit sweetish and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nice, lots of orange and tangerine, would love to try this really fresh one day.

Tap at Watering Hole. Nice, lots of fruit, citrus and tropical plus bit of graininess. Light sweetness, but still good bitterness. Orange and mango maybe. Slightly funky mineral finish. Nice! Refreshing.

Bottled (backlog). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some zesty, mild bready and cookie like malty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some bready and biscuity crispiness with zest, floral and some sweetish wooden and resiny notes. Nice bitterness, that stays for a while in the aftertaste.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’ at 6.5% abv. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, grainy and moderately fruity aroma of grains, honey, straw and citrus. Sweetish, fruity and quite grainy taste of straw, grains, citrus and honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy and quite grainy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, not so good after the beers we’ve had already.

$1.85 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours golden with an inch of beige head. Smells like sweetened rose/peace iced tea. Taste is pine, rose hips, citrus peel, orange. Good amount of flavor!

Bottle pours a rather hazy orange amber with a fine modest head. Rather malty and heavy for a pale. Nice woody and pithy hop character. Nice flavors, a bit grassy/woody.
