Borges, the conservative insurgent, the skeptical optimist. It is on Colina that respect is given and it is here that he debits knowledge and everyone listens to him. Borges is a caviar leftist and a hippie capitalist. Inside it fit all the ideas in the world. So is this Imperial Stout, with an intriguing complexity, but that speaks for everyone.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L050388 (03/2022). AROMA: medium herbaceous hop note. medium-low roasted malt aroma with black coffee and cocoa. low background of dried plums and perfumy alcohol. APPEARANCE: jet black and opaque. medium-low brown creamy head with average retention. lace/leg formation. TASTE: initial low dried fruit note (dried plum), followed by medium-low herbaceous hops and medium-high roasted malt with a dark/unsweetened coffee-like character. medium-high to high bitterness with a roasty/burnt finish. PALATE: medium-high body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an imperial stout with a very present hop aroma that can be confused with a black IPA.

Draught, 10.5 % @ the taproom in Lisbon. Pours cloudy drk coffee brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of roast and hops, with notes of coffee and yeast. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour with sweetish notes of malt, dried fruit and chocolate and touches of yeast. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Warmig alcohol presence. Well-balanced and potent. Very nice.
