Slightly watery but refreshing gold beer. Good carbonation. A hoppy finish with juicy orange and a hint of lemon. Not too dry.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy deep golden with a rough white head. The nose is fruity, a little citric with a coconut touch. Light body, sweet malts and fruit with a fairly hoppy finish. 050111

[500ml bottle from Bodiam Castle, near Hastings] Light copper with a moderate off-white head. Orange dominates, but there’s a pleasant balance of dry leaves and a moderate earthy bitterness. Apple comes through in the finish to add to the fruitiness. Top notch and very satisfying beer, lovely stuff.
