16 oz. can: Pours clear gold with a cottony white head. Grain malt, corn, cardboard aroma. Taste is corn....malty....sweet.... So sweet I can’t even taste all the metallic notes that I KNOW are in there. Pretty bad stuff.

24oz can as part of the Thunderbird malt liquor tasting. It pours a seductable golden yellow with a thick white head. The nose is white musk, spice, rotten apple and hooker perfume. The taste is sweetcorn, corn syrup, garbage, sugar and rotten fruit with a nasty compost finish. Light body, maximum damage. Lives up to the hype.

Served at fridge temp in Hill Farmstead Stemware. Gotta get my malt liquor category review.
A - Light golden orange. Hint of head that fades fast. Okay head lacing.
S - There’s this burnt malts scent. Sort of stale and old and very boring. I’m surprised though that there’s any smell at all.
T - There is no taste! It’s amazing. It’s this flat boring moldy tasting dirt tap water taste. It’s very bland and boring.
M - 5% carbonation on the mouth swish. Medium body.
O - This may be the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. It’s not even beer. It’s fermented toilet water.

40oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of corn, grain and skunk. Taste is the same. Medium bodied with a sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a shitty finish. Overall, it’s crap.

Can @ the First Annual Rocky Mountain Malt Liquor Tasting. Clear golden appearance with a white head. Grainy, corn, not overly offensive aroma like his HG brother. Nasty, yet somewhat drinkable, corny, grainy, grassy, a bit boozy bullshit. Bad but there’s a lot worse like Skawork Orange.

40 oz bottle. Pale, golden liquid with small white head. Smells of DMS, vinegar and a lot of things that you don’t want in a beer. Taste is a bit sweet, dry and light to medium bitter. A bit maltiness and some corn. Light bodied with high carbonation. Awful. Works quite well as a Brass Monkey though. Re-rating 20110909. Other bottle was infected, vinegary. Same appearance as before. Aroma is sweet with notes of corn, alcohol, throw-up and cooked vegetables. Horrible. Taste is a bit sweet, no bitterness and lots of diffuse, weird notes. Not good either, but fortunately the taste isn’t that strong. Light bodied, watery with high carbonation and weird, sticky mouthfeel. This is not good, it’s just plain horrible. Though, it doesn’t taste as horrible if you blend it with orange juice. Too high carbonation, bleeh...

12oz can from the state wine store
Appearance: Yes, I poured this into a glass. I drank my share of these when I was (much) younger, but never used a glass. Clear straw yellow with a big white head that dissipates fairly quickly, some light lacing
Aroma: Corn, honey and pilsner malts
Taste: Malts, corn, grassy and yeasty
This is actually better than I remember. Not saying good, just OK. I’ve had much worse BMC beers and even some craft beer. But, it was still footbalmed.

Golden color, creamy slick sweet palate. Grainy sweetness, a touch of alcohol burn. A little weird vegetal taste in the finish. Overall impression of beery soda water, a little weird for a malt liquor.

Bottle, 40oz. Pours a clear gold with a fizzy white head. Grainy malt aroma with some corn and sugar. Flavor is sweet with more grain. Very little bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet. As long as it stays fairly cold, this is perfectly drinkable stuff.

Bottle. Poured yellowish gold with a white head. Aroma was sweet and corny. Flavor was sweet and corny as well with a bit of a metallic taste. Was very thick on the tongue.
