Can from Beerdome, shared at home (11/08/2020) - very hazy golden yellow pour with a white head. New brewery + new hop type alert! Vibrant fruity with the Idaho 7 tropical vibe taking the lead, this new “Zappa”hop with additional fruity action but also a very light minty/menthol accent as well, sweet malts, lingering hoppy finish. Interesting

Can. Hazy gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a decent fine minerally crispness. Light smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a crisp pine in to a slightly bitterish melon that I am guessing is Cashmere. A little of that Idaho 7 piney resinous tropical fruits and citrus mix. The unsurprising star here is the Neomexicanus phenemo en that is Zappa. If all Neomexicanus hops are as tasty and off the wall as this one, well part of me wishes I lived in that part of the US. Dominant and fairly sweet grape is the Zappa streak here, Purple skittles is the backbone. Ties in beautifully with the piney character of all the hops. Light crispy finish. Lovely. I'll say again, I love the citric character of all the (by now) traditional New World hops. But. If beer, brewed without adjuncts, is going to be all it can be, you need many more hops like Zappa.

500ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with averge to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, rather unspecific fruitiness, minimally sweaty, resinous, piney undertones, a touch of lychee and lime. Taste is juicy, tropical and citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of orange juice, a touch of lime and lycheee, rather unspecific fruitiness overall, minimally sweaty, resinous undertones, a dry and minimally powdery, dusty touch of oat and cryo hops. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well crafted, slightly restricted hop flavours - quite OK.

Really juicy, peach maybe. Hazy and bitter, but fruity sweetness in the aftertaste. Very nice.

Tap @ Pien shop and bar, Helsinki. Poured light orange in color with a dense white head. Citrusy nose with cryo dustyness, hop powdery feel. Grapefruity flavors, citrus, dankness. Smooth and very good drinkability. Balanced and fresh. Lovely
