It is written that man loved the darkness because of their evil deeds. ....But one can hardly enjoy the dark richness of an imperial stout on a bright summers day, can they?
Nyctophilia - the love of darkness - is a tribute to the night and a love for big heavy stouts. Dark roasted malts and molasses dominate this beer with deep rich tones malt and licorice with roasted coffee.

Bottle @ gunnfryd. Black body under a small, fast disappearing beige head. Strong peated aroma, dark malt, roasted, liquorices and boozy alcohol. Taste is very sweet, sticky sweet with roasted dark malt, molasses, plenty of peat, liquorices, oak and warming alcohol. Full bodied with long lasting, sweet and boozy aftertaste. Lots of flavours here, but quite raw and boozy.
