Brown 30cl bottle, best before Jan 2008, drank July 2007. Poured into Corsendonk tulip glass. Lovely clear terracotta red colour, small white foam head. No aroma really, not even as the beer warmed, a bit of malted biscuits if I am being kind. Not a great beery taste, more a watery malted drink, the mouthfeel is also poor, no hops, yeast or anything to do with a true Belgian Pale Ale.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear orangey brown with a dense and creamy off-white head. Light caramel in the nose. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel, sweet caramel notes - very sweet - with an edge of cardboard. Absolutely no bitterness. 050211

@my mums place, because of her 80th birthday. Clear medium amber colour, good stable frothy off-white to beige head, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, grain, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grass, sugary. Light to medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, mild sweetbitter finish, sugary notes. I prefer to mix the Oud Bruin and Pilsner myself.

Bottle 30cl. Medium amber colour. Not much carbonation. Nice and drinkable. I seem to have 2 accounts. Any idea how I can merge them?

30cl Bottle at home. Clear amber colour, slight off white head. Aroma of grain, cardboard, light skunky hops, caramel. Flavour is grain, cardboard, caramel, medium sugary sweet with a light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. The pilsener notes are too sharp IMO, and Oud Bruin is my least favourite beer style. I canβt say this is a match made in heaven..

Bottle: Amber, clear, small foamy off-white layer; grainy-dusty and sweet-fruity nose; mainly sweetish flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy, empty MF; light sweetish-sourish finish. Not really convincing........
