Bottle: Poured a murky orange brown with a white head. Aroma is soft apple and spice. Taste is a fermented apple which gives way to a sweet sticky caramel. Finish is dry.

Bottle, 6%. Weak apple flavour, only a hint, making the beer quite refreshing. Clear dark golden colour, small white head.

Golden orange colour ... light fruit nose ... light tart fruit apple flavour ... no depth but pleasent enough.

Bottle, St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Hazy golden dirty colour. Quite like the lemon flavour and there is a bit of bubblegum but a bit sweet and intense

(APPARENTLY CHANGED NAME TO "ERPS APPELBIER") Huge yellowish head on peach-coloured beer, full of grey specks and heavy carbonation. Nose of apple(juice) , but also candi-sugar (not added following label). Dry-sweet smell. Taste is bitter - hopbitter, more to the point. There is a retronasal flavour of apples, but very little sweetness. Seems this beer has been very highly attenuated - wonder what the real ABV is. Light spicey finish. Very dry mouthfeel. Beer seems lighter than it probably is. Warming up a vague whisky taste appears. After the cherrybeer, an applebeer. St. Servattumus on an Ephemère tour? Drinkable - and original enough. No oversweet applejuice with alcoholshot.

The aroma is hoppy with strong notes of apples and banana. The color is a hazy orange but it has no head. The flavor is strong of apples and very fresh. The end is like a sour apple, that lingers.
