Winter IPA

Slightly hazy copper color with a three-finger head. Aroma is citrus fruit, tropical fruit and pine resin. Taste is also citrus fruit, tropical fruit and pine resin.

Skipping pumpkins spice and leaves and all the rest and right into winter.

Super clear copper and bronze coloured body with a lot of bubbles, especially as a two centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of crisp grain, strong malt, alcohol and flowers with a small kick of assertive hop notes. Medium-bodied; Crisp and strong piney hop notes with a lot of rich, nutty, grainy flavours, especially at the end, but a bitter kick with a cleanser-like note that has a lot of the grainy and piney notes, and are by far the strongest. Aftertaste is rich and showing a bit of both grainy malts with a lot of bitterness, but the pungent, earthy, toffee-y and deep flavours show throughout, especially at the end, with a strong bite - especially from the hop-side of things. Overall, a strong, rich and flavourful beer with a lot of toffee and caramel notes and the pine, crisp grainy and herbal side of this shows a rich finish. Nice to sample and very bitter and pungent throughout - nice for the Winter season! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Alexandria, Virginia on 15-November-2022 for US$2,33 ($13,99/mixed six pack) sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-December-2022.

Orange brown with a large foamy beige head that left excellent lacing. Sweetish and malty with rough piney hops, grapefruit and tobacco. Long finish. Medium body.

Can 35,5 l. Pours a hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Nose has toffee and biscuity malts. Medium body, solidly malty to the caramelly side without ever becoming excessivey sweet. Solid hop bitterness. 300822

Gylden brun lett tåkete med beige skum. Lukter tung karamell og smør. Middels fylde. Smaker brunet smør, sitrus og karamell. Middels lang.

Can from Systembolaget. Hazy amber with a large head. Caramel, pine, red berries, citrus and resin. Quite bitter finish.

Pour is a brown-red with a large white head. Aroma is some oily hop and you get some rye. FLavor is again a decent hit of spicy rye but the hops are way in the backround. Decent rye but a very minor hop presence. Not great, not terrible.

Orange, rye, malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy amber with large light tan head. Moderately sweet orange, rye, malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body.
