Can. Just a very light haze on this rich gold beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. The malts are reasonably sweet and deliver a fair amount of unsweet. Caramel. An abundance of cooling piney hop. Orange peel and marmalade into something that tastes like this was barrel aged, touches of vanilla and wood, just touches mind. Light finish. Full marks for delivering a pretty light and clean triple IPA but ultimately this is a West Coaster and comes with all the boundaries and restrictions of that sub style. Impressive but not something that engages my heart at all.

Can from Eltham Wines. Orange pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit, orange toffee, apricot jam. Taste is apricot jam, orange marmalade, tangerine, tropical fruit. Thick, boozy finish. One to take your time with.

440ml can from Cat in the Glass. Gluten Free. Orangey gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of orange marmalade, mango, resiny hop. Taste is malt caramel, citrusy orange, grapefruit, with pine, woody and earthy resinous hop bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.
