Bottle from Super Brugsen, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is skunky gariny toffee caramel malt, The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry roasty, burnt treacle palate. Medium bodied with soft carbontation.

Bottle, 4.8%. Good malty aroma, dark bread and hvidtøl. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable creamy tan head. The flavour is mildly roasted, faintly citric. A little sweet with good bread notes. A little watery finish. Quite flavourful for the ABV.

Clear dark mahogany pour with a large nitro-like mocha head and good retention. Decent lacing. Charred sweet malt flavor and little else - and I’m okay with that. Really clean and simple.

Butelka. Ciemnobrązowe, z rubinowymi refleksami. Piana znika w kilka chwil do dosłownie zera. W aromacie słodowo: ciemny chleb, karmel. W smaku bardzo słodko: karmel i diacetyl. Żona opisała to jako serek Danio. Mało gęsto, zdecydowanie za słodko.

Bottle from Colonial Spirits. Dark brown in color without much of a head. Molasses and caramel aroma and flavor mostly. Hints of raisin and prune but this feels mostly artificial.
