We have combined the classic spring flavour of fresh elderflowers with our lovely honey, and gently fermented them together to create this, our sparkling Elderflower Mead. A taste of spring in every bottle. It’s like popping over to your Gran’s house and getting gently tiddly.

330ml bottle from Ludlow Farm Shop. Pale yellow. Exceptionally light and dry, light hoppy bitterness, distant honey sweetness, swiftly fading away on the palate.

330ml bottle from Old Railway Line. Very pale yellow gold colour, some white bubbles on top which dissipate away and aroma of honey, elderflower, citrus. Taste is sweet, honey, with flowery elderflower and some citric notes. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, drying citric finish. Quite OK

Bottle from Ludlow Food Centre. Appearance - pale yellow and hazy. Thin and quickly disappearing head. Nose - big dominant elderflower notes. Faint honey. Taste - melded honey and elderflower, with honey dominant at the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied, dry-ish finish. Overall - quite enjoyable actually.
