Superficial festival rating during Håntverkerens Juleølfestival 2022. Almost clear dark brownish amber body under a lacing tan head. Strong malty aroma with dry fruit, some chocolate and a spicy touch. Tase is nice and tasty with malt, caramel, chocolate, dry fruit, moderate bitterness, spices and a fine slightly warming chili ending. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. Nice one.

Dark brown with off white head - Dark malt aroma with some dark fruity notes as well - Dark malt body with some fruity tones and there is some peppery flavours that stings in the back - Malt finish with peppery flavours that leaves some lingering heat - This was good

440ml can, batch nr. 288, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. A covering beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, Ruby-dark brown body. Inviting smell of chocolate malts and ripe orange. Well blended taste profile of liquorice, cinnamon and mild chili chocolate, supported by a dried fruity vibe. Roasted ending with the chili chocolate lingering on, not overdone. Fine depth to it. Pleasant Yuletide sipper on a Friday eve. (Tromsø 17.12.2021).

Frem med mitt Hogna-glass, nå skal luke 7 sprettes! Kastanjebrun med fint skum som varer. Ganske beskjeden aroma, men smaken og munnfølelsen er på grensen til direkte luksuriøs, og med et pikant og varmende chilistreif i avslutningen kan ikke dette gå galt. Mørke sjokolader og diskrete toner av kakao, lakrisrot og kanel, akkurat som beskrevet på denne 0,44 boksen fra julenissens avdeling på Bergen Storsenter.
