One of the highest rated Double NEIPA in the Netherlands, and that for our first try! For us, this was a dream come true an well worth the hours and hours of study.
We brewed Ahanu this one with Calista, a new hop variety from Germany, that gives this beer extreme stone fruit character like you never tasted before. 13g/l of hops and a heavy malt bill makes this beer thick, juicy and dangerously drinkable.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2018) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, resin and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy. Nice one.

Bottle from Mallorn as part of European local swap 3/2018, thanks. Hoppy aroma, citrus and tropical fruit, light resin. Tastes the same as aroma, light to medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy bitter finish. Good.
