500ml bottle, Brnr 215, 4.7 % abv, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Bodø. A slowly diminishing fawn coloured head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Deep dark brown body. Indeed, good looking. Promising brown malty nose, lightly roasted. Fine brown malty flavoured, impacts of caramel, nuts, and a vibe of grainy chocolate. Nicely roasted end with a bite of dark fruits. Yuletide feel, well crafted. (Bodø Panorama 01.12.2021).

Bottle. A clear, well carbonated beer with a creamy beige head. Lots of yeast in the aroma, with caramel, dried fruits and a vague hint of licorice. It's medium bodied, smoothly carbonated and semi-dry. Yeast, caramel, dried fruits, some licorice and a light bitterness in the flavor. Long yeasty finish. Way, way too yeasty. 171111

Bottle from Gulating, Brennåsen. Deep brown body with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is malty with chocolate. Flavor is balanced sweet malty with chocolate, hint of toast and dry fruit. Moderate bitterness. Medium, quite balanced body with a decent aftertaste. Nothing very exiting going on here, but definitively a decent made, tasty and smooth brown ale at 4,5% that probably should go rather fine together with most Christmas food or just as a uncomplicated easy drinkable malt based beer.
