A malt bill of Extra Pale, Clear Choice, Malted Oats, Vienna and Wheat give this a bittersweet backbone that can withstand a whole host of hops. We then packed the wort with Columbus & Cascade for bittering and aroma, and generous amounts of Azacca & Comet for dry-hopping for a West Coast vibe. A chewy malt body (think liquid Frosties) with a bitter and piney finish that was prominent even whilst the Kveik yeast was getting to work to deliver a really well-balanced beer.

Cask at EBF Nov 23. Aroma is certainly piney, alongside a sweet gruit element. Opaque amber. Frothy foamy white head. Medium bitter alongside a sourness. Resin and citrusy. Underlying fruits. Develops biscuity malts. Light. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Keg @ Cricketers Arms, Horbury. Golden with a small head. It is hopped with a mild dryness and is at a very drinkable strength. Minimal fruitiness.

Very slightly hazy gold with a small, bubbly white head and a little bit fruity on the nose. Has a light biscuit malt flavour with some subtle citrus bitterness and a touch of pine in the finish
