100ml sample, courtesy of danlo. Deep translucent red. Smells of cherry liqueur with honey just peeping through. Sweet taste, fairly boozy, getting loads more cherry here. Warming finish, light fruit sourness. Oily body, no carbonation. Not a lot to it but it's inoffensive enough and a nice boozy mead.

700ml bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Blood red colour, no head and aroma of cherry, almond. Taste is sweet, marzipan, cherry, almonds, honey, and boozy. Medium bodied, low carbonation, almondy boozy finish. Quite drinkable.
