Pale Ale - American Style / APA Regular
Score
6.84

Top-fermented beer in American pale ale style. Blond "golden colour", cloudy,
medium-bodied, intensely vinous aroma with exotic notes.
The first perception of flavor is an intense bitter, followed by extraordinary sugary notes of a fine wine and exotic fruit.
The finish is very clean and balanced, with a long finish on the palate.

Clear blond to orange beer, big dense white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, bit herbal, soapy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, pretty fruity, some grapefruit, citrus, malty, bit floral. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, furity, hoppy, bit resinous, very decent beer!

On tap @ Birre Vive sul Naviglio, Gaggiano 2016.

Bottle from Pazzeria, Milan
Hazy golden color, compact head. Strong aroma, reminiscent of sub-Alpine fields (flowers, grass, manure). Clean mouthfeel, dry malt flavor, with strong hopping, carrying fruits and some hop resins, Passion fruit, and a earthy/manure character; the final is very bitter and dry.
A very powerful, fresh, modern Golden Ale; excellent.
