Bottle @ OBD share. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Notes of dark fruit, lightly spicy, caramel, vanilla, oak. Not really any smoke on this bottle which I was pretty surprised of. Lightly bitter finish.

(375ml 2017 bottle shared @ Nische's tasting, thanks Otso!) Pours clear dark mahogany with a tiny tan head. Notes of quite rich dark toffee, soft molasses, dark bread, soft dark fruit, quite some wood, moderate smoky peat, kiss of iodine, moderately sweet into the finish with a bit of earthy toast and wood, lingering soft to moderate peat. Full bodied, somewhat viscous, with light carbonation. Surprisingly smooth for a scotch barrel, which works with but doesn't totally overwhelm a solid base. Gives enough for someone who likes whisky. Well-crafted, I enjoyed this one even if it's not the richest variant.

Thnx to gEUS. Pours dark brown, small to medium, lightly tanned head. Smell is full, sweet, grainy, dark fruits, mild barrel notes ( milder than both apple brandy and rum ) . Taste is full, intense on the barrel, less boozy than the other 2 i had prior. sweet, mild dark fruits.
