Aromas are malt and MJ with a little resin and a hint of citrus. Flavors are similar to nose, on the mild side yet somehow more bold than the aromas. A bit more sweet than bitter with soft mouth. Not bad not great.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear light yellow with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Fruity, tropical, citrus. Clean and crisp.

Tall can from Winerack at home. Surprisingly light yellow clear pour with sudsy white head. Maybe so urine-colored because of rice? Aroma is crisp (yellow-green) apple and pine bitterness. Taste is sharp pine bitterness at the front, which is the main flavor throughout. Some apple again, and crisp slightly dry finish. Not a lot going on but well executed and refined feeling. Nice. Not as good as other New Hokkaido beers but not bad.

Looks similar to the DIPA as a pour but clearer, and certainly related, but cleaner WC hop profile, some candied Orange peel and caramel sweetness up front. Mild bitterness

Can. Amber, not quite clear. A 2cm white head. Assertive citrus aroma with grapefruit & mandarin, some berries, light biscuit, menthol. 7+ Very sweet with mandarin and berries before a moderately bitter and slightly resinous end. After a while the resin tells a bit and makes the end tauter.

16oz can. Cloudy amber/golden , soft, creamy head. Aroma is caramel and hoppy. Taste is malty, grainy, hoppy, all in balance. Nice sharp bitterness, caramel, savory.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is citrus over ripe notes and some malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet over ripe citrus hops.

Can at Kultainen Apina, Tampere. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, pine, resiny, caramel, hops and malts. Very resiny.
