A hoppy Belgian style wit, brewed with copious amounts of Motueka, adding a citrussy touch to the beer. A dash of chamomile ads depth and freshness. Cheers!

17/I/20 - 33cl bottle @ DSV Nieuwjaarsdrink (Gent), BB: n/a (2020-56) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
GUSHER ALERT!!!
Little cloudy orange beer, small to practically no head. Aroma: bit soapy, floral, mango, lactose, hint of vanilla. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very fruity, soapy touch, brett notes, soft bitterness, more soapy. Aftertaste: bit chemical, rubbery, spicy notes, more soapy, rather unpleasant finish, started great, but not in hte finish, floral and soapy, pretty messy.

75 cl bottle thnx to the brewer! Pours surprisingly clear, pale yellow. Médium. Stable white head. Smell is mild. Some phenols ( but not the clove like phenols you'd expect in a weisse) tad hoppy. Not at all like a Belgian witbier, since it has no coriander or orange peel. I'd say it's more like an American wheat ale. Taste is sharp, wheat, tad to phenolic for me. Bitter ( assertively) with a mild hoparoma. High carbonation, medium-low mouthfeel. Not my favorite, but a well drinkin beer nevertheless.
