Kinn Landkjenning Stout er eit svart øl med ein rik, røstig smak og god fylde. Svartmalt, ambermalt og East Kent Golding humle er klassiske ingrediensar. Eit slikt øl er for mange ein kvardagsfavoritt og har ein smak ein aldri blir lei av. Staut øl passar særs godt til grilla kjøt eller sterkt krydra mat, som til dømes taco.

Ebony. Dense, foamy and persistent pale brown head and lacing. Very good aroma and taste of roasted barley, dark chocolate, bonfire, vanilla and tobacco. A very tasty traditional English stout! From tap at Henriks øl og vinstove 14.01.22, the day the bars opened after a one-month close-down because of Norwegian Covid restrictions. Tomorrow I will be flying to London.

Svart. Middels høyt tett skum med litt farge. Daler sakte & etterlater pen lacing. Beskjeden aroma av røstet malt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken svidd malt & lakris. Tørr avslutning. Gjennomgående bålpreg.

Bottle. A more or less black one, topped by a finger thick beige head. Roasted, quite burnt aroma with a sweetish touch. Some bonfire hints. It's velvety and quite dry on the palate, with lots of roasted malts in the flavor. Bonfire burnt malts and a hint of coffee too. Smooth, lasting finish. Quite nice, but suffering a bit from the ABV. 211211

7-4-7-3-14 Bottle, #1890, 20 months before bbd. Pours deep, dark chestnut brown, with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with burned wood, dark bread and coffee, as well as leather and herbal leafy notes. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with notes of burned wood, burned sugar and coffee, as well as notes of chocolate and herbal minerals.

Bottle from Meny. Black body with a medium sized beige head. A bit weak aroma, dark malt, coffee and sour vegetables. Taste has dry, dark, roasted malt and quite sour with some harsh bitterness. Medium body and same aftertaste. Not very pleasant, could not finish my bottle. Perhaps something wrong with my bottle in accordance with other ratings here. Will try to re-rate when possible.
