Can, at Kristiansand Juleølfestival. An unclear orange colored beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Curtains. The aroma has orange, pine cones, resin and a touch of malts. Caramel-ish. It's medium to full-bodied and nicely carbonated, dry, with a good bitterness. Orange juice, orange zest and a bit too much white orange peel in the flavor. Pine cones, caramel malts and some bread as well. Lasting bitter finish. A decent one, nothing particular going on. Supposedly brewed with juniper berries, but can't really say I noticed. 241102

330ml can, #203, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Dense, pearl white head that stayed well over a murky orange coloured body, crocheted lacing. Moderate smell of mid-dry, rather sweet malts, hints of berry skins. Rather sweet taste as well, a mix of caramel and apricot jam. Fruity-berry endnotes, foamy in the mouth. Passable. (Tromsø 07.02.2022).

Rødbrun. Uklar. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte og etterlater litt lacing. Aroma av sevje & furunåler. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken har et lite sukkertøypreg. Innslag av einebusk. Lett tørr avslutning - med forsvinnende lite bitterhet. Absolutt julepreg på denne.

Bottle. Unclear golden body with a big, tan head. Aroma has yeast, hops and vegetables. Taste is a lot better than aroma, plain but not bad. Light, relatively refreshing, malt, grassy hops almost like hop pellets. The juniper is not very distinct, more like a hint when knowing it. Decent.

0,33 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme des-18: lett uklar rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Behagelig duft og smak med citrus, barnåler og kvae. Fin btterhet i ettersmaken - en smaksrik, slank og sympatisk juleøl. Glasset ble fort tomt.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 26.11.18. Cloudy orange. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of tangerines, grapefruit and some crystal malt. Citrus bitterness is lingering on.
