Polish pastry sour with mango and passionfruit, can shared by Meeki, thanks! Snow white, thin, loose and open head, hazy apricot blonde robe. Aroma of indeed passionfruit and mango juice (and a lot of it), guava even, honey, sweet dough (the marshmallow effect I presume), gooseberry jam, green strawberries, tulips, vague hint of cardboard betraying that it has passed its peak. Tart onset, very fruity with lots of passionfruit sourness and sweetness, mango clear enough as well and adding further sweetness even if the tartness remains dominant; softish carb, soft fluffy, doughy malt body, completely hidden under ongoing tropical fruitiness, with that sour streak even gaining strength in the end, becoming gooseberry-like. Ends juicy, tart, refreshing and utterly tropical, but the marshmallow effect (whatever that may be) passes by almost unnoticed – so in the end, this tastes more like a Catharina sour than a pastry sour to me, even if the promised fruit is delivered to the full.

Cloudy orange blond to beige beer, practically no head. Aroma: lovely, lots of lactobacillus, fruity, lemony, grapefruit, tropical fruits, passion fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, lots of passion fruit, bit sourish, lemony, juicy, very nice, a bit sugary. Aftertaste: super fruity, tropical fruits, juicy, passion fruits, very nice!
