Oxcart is a blend of three year of traditional lambic inspired coolship spontaneous ale that follows the methode traditionnelle guidelines. OXCART is the purist expressions of our goals with Black Project, as spontaneous fermentation yields what we believe to be true terroir, great complexity, and depth of flavor. If you choose to cellar this beer it will age and develop for years to come.

Poured a slightly dull yellow color with a medium-small white head. Aroma was nice funky yeast notes, some mild tartness. Funky, spontaneous funky notes. Barnyard and light dust. 750ml bottle at the DC area socially distant Fall 2020 tasting.

375ml bottle pours a pulpy gold with some cloudy, white head. I had the last pour, which may have effected the look. Nose has green apples, some funk, some plastic too. Flavor had green apple, raw what, some herbs. Pillowy finish.

Grapefruit bretta. Pretty nice stuff for a U.S. gueuze. Lemon. Nice stuff. Golden pour with ok head. Some orange. Bottle thanks to Alejandro.

375ml bottle pours out straw color topped with a white head .nose is funky wet wheat cheese some basement musty notes. Taste is more of the nice cheese funky barrel basement notes and a little citrus.

Bottle pour at Weldwerks Invitational 2019. Nice funk horseblanket aroma, some fruit, oak, more intensive taste would be nice. Moderate sourness.

2018 bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a clearish straw gold with a full 2 fingers of white foam that dissipates. Lovely horseblanket and mild gooseberry aromas with a touch of vanilla as it warms. Acidity is restrained on the palate with good must, funk, lemon and light gooseberry again. 375ml bottle, merci Vincent. Blend 2018, bottled 02/2018. Doré sur léger trouble, col blanc fin disparaissant rapidement. Arôme au bouquet funk, fruité vert avec un marqué citrique, petite note acidulée rappelant presque la rhubarbe. Fin grains, note de cave. Palais sur effervescence haute marquée, citrique également bien marqué. Cuiren funk, impression de groseille verte, fin acidulé, plaisant sans pour cela atteindre l'effet belge 'méthode' tel que noté chez Jester King.

Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, oak, stone fruit. Thin body, funky, lacto, brett, oak, light tartness, dry finish, very good.
