Fresh hop ESB. An old world beer style using new world hops. It was brewed with fresh Comet hops from Myrtle Meadows Hop Farm in Pemberton. The hops were flash frozen with liquid nitrogen and pulverized to maximize the contact with the beer. It was dry hopped with a combination of Comet and Galaxy T90 pellets.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber-orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves thick patches of lace. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, grapefruit and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, peach and grapefruit in a dry, mild bitter, grassy hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. More of an IPA than an ESB, but tasty and easy to drink.

Bright amber, beige head. Light piney citrus nose. Prickly, citrus hops ; herbal notes. Lasting bitter finish. Needs a better malt backbone

Amber, bright, medium head. Mellow toastiness and caramelly aroma. On the palate that toasty accent - both caramelly malts and leafy hops - is big.
