Can from the lcbo. Clear amber pour, with a small white head. Aroma is a blast of fake maple, with a bready pecan.. Sickly sweet, cloying and a drain pour all the way.

Unfiltered lightly with particles, golden-amber, a big frothy warm cap, very long stay and leaving full foamy lacing. Big sweet maple syrup aromas at first, with some herbal notes coming out with time. Some nutty pecan hints. The sweetness does calm down after breathing, and the hops do cut the maple sweet touch with a light grassy hoppy dryness. The pecan mild tart lingers on the tongue, with some spices. An interesting nutty, maple, spicy old ale with decent hops to balance things out. Yet, a little all over the place.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with floaties and a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready malt, maple, pecan, nutmeg and light ginger. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, maple, honey, toffee, nutmeg, ginger and pie crust in a sweet finish. Medium body with a syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Good thing I'm not a diabetic. This is very cloying.

This ale poured a golden amber colour with a creamy, white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include candied pecans, nutmeg, ginger and a little beef gravy. First swig was very spicy and sweet. Flavours of pecans, caramel, honey and nutmeg most prominent. Finish is syrupy sweet with spice flavours lingering.
