Can from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy yellow, with a large white head. Aroma is very zesty, obvious up front notes of lime zest, and light crackery malts. The lime seems to be real lime juice, and zest, not artificial. The finish is acidic, and bright but not over powering. Earthy notes from the lime balance well with the subtle sweetness of the malts. i was pleasantly surprised.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of crackery malt, lime and lactose. Sweet flavour of graham cracker and lactose in a tart, acidic lime finish. Medium body with a creamy, syrupy texture and average carbonation. A little too sweet to have more than one. Just ok .

I like the idea behind this beer. I first remember as a kid stopping at Kawartha for ice cream on the way up to Scout camp., and the love never stopped. This beer doesn't pull any ice cream punches. Creamy syrupy sweetness overlays hay malts, popsicle lime that's solid but not overwhelming. Finishes with a mild touch of bitterness. Might not buy a case, but we'll worth a can.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy medium gold with a small off white head. Nose is lime zest and light bread. Light sweet malt base providing the hint of graham cracker with a light to medium lime tartness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation. Had my doubts, but this is quite nice. 8/3+/7+/4/15+

Can that pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy warm cap, good retention and some nice creamy lacing. Lime notes over... well, pretty much lots of lime with the fruitiness and sourness. It does seem freshly squeezed and not fake juice. The taste is where the key lime shows more with the lime balanced with mild sweetness from the dairy. Not really sour, but more citrusy. The graham cracker hints comes from the malts. This is well done, and interesting.
