Lively aromas. Twisted roots. Just tapped. We asked our brewers to go nuts, and instead they went all botanicals on us. Enjoy this lively amalgamation of juniper and hops flowing through a blossoming blend of herbs, citrus, and botanicals.

Sample during the Pretend It’s Oregon: A De Garde Tasting Extravaganza on 07/27/2019. Clear golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Botanical and fruity aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of juniper, herbal hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is spicy and fruity with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle on clearance at bowsers, cheap. Cloudy pale, aroma of some kindah spice. Odd weird unique spice thang on teh uptake, but not real bitter. Yes, quite unique, almost like trying to like medicine. Whew. Difficult. A little too different I'd say. Whew. Perhaps just a tad of warming sensations from the ginger. Not sure about any lime tho. Would not repeat, repeat, would not repeat, heheheh.

355ml bottle. (7.0% ABV) Pours a clear gold with a small, creamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Mild aroma of pale malt, lime, lemon, juniper, spicy hops and light oak. Sweet flavour of rye malt, lime, lemon, juniper, ginger, black pepper and oak in a dry, herbal hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing, ABV is well hidden. An ok herb beer.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 6/24/19. Hazy gold, thin creamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of pale malt, lime, juniper, apricot, a rosemary-like note. Taste is lime, lemon, apricot, herbal notes, pale malt. Medium bodied, low carb, syrupy, well balanced. Nice.

12 oz bottle from a six pack. Aroma is botanical, grain, lime, bread. Pours mostly clear golden with a quickly collapsing white head. Taste is moderately sweet and bready with flavors like the aroma. Finises pretty dry. Interesting and good.

The Aromas are fairly mild and straightforward, fresh ale with a slightly herbal cast. Flavors are just like nose nicely balanced between Bittersweet and Carbonic Tang. Nothing here that trips my trigger. Slightly interesting. Okay body and finish. Nothing I'd look for again.
