Can from the lcbo. Dark brown pour with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet roast, light chocolate with some caramel, and sweet malts. Mouth feel is thin, carb is more of the same. Finish is lightly bitter, medium sweet. The caramel mingles well with the chocolate notes, but the salted aspect is completely lost.

Clean copper colour with a creamy light warm mocha-coloured head, good stay and loads of lacing traces. Maple syrup aromas with the caramel malts and hints of molasses, roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, salt. Not too rich in the flavours, as in syrupy, but maybe a tad for all of the can. Caramel malt taste, slight saltiness and decent hops to balance the finish. Interested dessert beer, but not one to have many.

This porter poured a deep red colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Medium lacing. Scents include rich caramel toffee. First swig was unbelievably malty. Full of caramel.... and vanilla. Finish is sweet, with nothing but caramel malts lingering forever.

473ml can. Pours a clear brown with ruby hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy roasted malt, caramel, biscuit and saline solution. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, chocolate, salt and weak coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A little thin for the style, but ok. Easy to drink.

Can from the LCBO. Clear dark copper with a large fluffy cream coloured head that fades slowly leaving some patchy lace. Prominent caramel and roast on the nose. Flavour is medium- caramel sweetness with a light+ coffee bitterness and some notes of vanilla and light saltiness. Mouth is medium- with soft carbonation and a sticky lightly sweet finish. Delivers what it promised but i find it a touch on the sweet side. 8/4/7/3+/14+
