Sample during the ElkMoose Me, But Why Is Your Glass MT? event on 07/10/2020. Clear golden pour with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hop, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Mostly clear golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall, pure white head that shows a bit of a microfoam. Aroma of citrus (duh!), full oranges, deep bitterness and alpha acids along with a funky cereal and peated malt noted - deep and strong in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong rich malts show at first with some honey and pungent sweetness right behind along with a touch of citrus and some good bitterness from the hops, along with a floral and very grassy finish. Aftertaste shows a dry and herbal grassiness with the floral and full pine and syrupy richness coming out, especially at the end. Overall, a dry and very crisp beer with a lot of bitterness from the grassy and citrusey notes, but still showing a lot of malts that are crisp and deep. Nice to sample as my first beer here in Montana today, but I was expecting a bit more citrusey flavours and less grassiness and dry flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Super One [grocery store] in Kalispell, Montana for US$1,67 on 26-July-2020 sampled in my hotel room here in Kalispell, Montana, a few hours later on 26-July-2020.

355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a medium, creamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt, grapefruit, orange, herbal and an off-putting vegetal note that lurks in the background. Semi-sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, pithy grapefruit, orange peel, pine resin, herbal hops and an odd green pepper note with a dry, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. No BB date, so not sure how fresh. I had high hopes, but was disappointed.
