Rich, velvety notes of chocolate, dominant roasted toffee with a raspberry sweet finish. The sweetness counters the dark roasted malt character.

Tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay. Black pour, medium brown head. Aroma is a blast of what seems to be artificial raspberry, and a lot roasted malts and light milk chocolate. Mouth feel, and carb is soft and pleasant, and the finish is more of this super sweet, almost cloying fake raspberry, mixed with some nice roast and cocoa powder. Nothing very memorable.

473ml can. Pours a clear brown with reddish hue and a medium, frothy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, toffee, milk chocolate and raspberry. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, toffee, caramel, bread, milk chocolate and bitter coffee with a dry, tart raspberry finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and average carbonation. Good, for what it is.

Part of their Moonlight Kettle Series for the month of February 2017. Pours a deep brown colour with a beige head and decent lacing. Raspberry juice aromas with some roasted malts and some sweetness. Chocolate taste with the raspberries. Flavours of mild roasted malts lingers. Quite a nice raspberry stout that is rich for such a light beer, but not overly. Very nice in small doses.
