Sort of a jarringly sweet, very smooth, raspberry wheat ale. Sort of like jam mixed with beer. Okay beer.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a sweet raspberry note with a lot of earthy wheat supporting. Flavor has a combination of earthy wheat and sweet raspberry.

341ml bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of raspberry and light wheat malt. Sweet flavour of raspberry and wheat with a crisp, slightly tart, dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation.

6-pack from the NSLC in Halifax. Pours a clean golden colour with a very slight pink hue haze. Raspberry juice aromas over light grain. The raspberry fruit is milder in the taste, showing more the cereal graininess in the finish. Refreshing, grainy and decent fruitiness for this average Raspberry Wheat brew.

Location: Draft at Maxwell's Plum, 7/7/13

Aroma: The aroma is of this one sweet fruit and wheat, some candied sugar
Appearance: It pours an orange color with a reddish hue and a white head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, sweet, fruity and a little candy, plus wheat and spice
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, and a clean, slightly sticky finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was an alright, but not great, example of the style. Not bad. It's pretty typical and unexciting overall.

Bottle: Poured a light pinkish color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention and light lacing. Aroma of light raspberry with some enhance syrup is not the most exciting; wheat malt do no play a big role in this beer. Taste is also dominated by light raspberry notes with a subtle tart profile with a light background of raspberry syrup and a bland malt profile. Body is a bout average for style with medium carbonation. Mediocre offering from a brewer that is known to brew better beer.
