Stonefruit as peach, if unripe. Peach retronasal obvious. Tart, acidburn, lipsmacking acidity, acidthinning, lean. Sharp, severe, almost harsh - one for the real sourheads.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is tart stone fruits with peach and apricot. Fleshy fruits, picking up a little funk. Flavour is tart and mildly sour, with a hint of sweetness. Body is medium. Pleasant tart stone fruits.

375ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally bretty, funky, yeasty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of peach, mirabelle, minimally biscuity, pale malty background with whiffs of grape sugar. Taste is mildly tart, funky yeasty and yeasty fruity, notes of peach, unripe peach, some fruit acid, pale malty basis with very low, residual sweetness. Simultaneously dissolved sugar enriched and acid thinned, watery texture, minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively clean, mild, simple - very nice.

2/7/2022. Bottle shared at fonefan tasting. Pours hazy pale golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is woody, peachy, apricot, funky and quite acidic. Moderate sweetness, medium tartness and body. Slightly oily/creamy with average carbonation. Nice funky woody tart finish. Enjoyable.

Hapu, virsik, nats magus, nats happeline, veits jahune, veits funky. Ok.
