Don't know why this is futuristic. Taste like a regular IPA to me. Aroma is citrus fruit and pine resin. Taste is also citrus fruit and pine resin.

Fairly clear golden and peach coloured body with a very thick, dense, tall off-white head, about three centimetres tall that fades to a single centimetre after a few minutes. aroma of grass and very perfumey hop notes with a nice deal of malts and sugars here (from the sweet candy, it seems) and a dose of mangoes and oranges in the nose, as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep malty flavours dominate with a good kick of mangoes and papaya with a hunk of melons in the mix, too, all ending with a big aspartame and fake sugar flavour with an astringent alcohol bite and some aggressive pungency at the end. Aftertaste is rich from the malt and strong flavours, but the nuanced mango and rich fruit flavours come from the hops that don't give off any additional alpha acids or bitterness, just the richness from the fruit. Overall, a good enough IPA that frankly isn't one of my favourites from this series, but at least provides a good balanced drink, heavy on richness and fake sugars, but weak on bitterness, fruits and complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Tyson's Corner (Vienna), Virginia on 29-October-2021 for US$1,99 with a 'best by' date of 27-February-2022 on the bottom of the can, and sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-November-2021.

The aromas at first are citrus but fade rapidly. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, citrusy and mildly sweet up front with good carbonation and a little bitter in the back. Also some weed in there. Decent enough beer but nothing really special.

12oz can my neighbor bought at the grocery store. Pours a clear gold with some sudsy white head. Nose is very floral, some grist, soap, a little citrus peel. Flavor is odd tropical fruits, like maybe a bad pineapple vitamin or something, heavy herbs, some soap, a little honey, a little pear. 8%? Yikes. Finishes astringent.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of fluffy white foam that lingers. Lovely pineapple aromas with white grapefuit and mango as it warms. Crusher on the palate with a nice balanced fruity and dry finish.

12iz can from Albertsons. Clear pale golden, foamy head fades away. Abrupt hoppy aroma, fruity, biscuit Malts. Taste is fruity, floral, piney. Not really digging the combo.
