Bottle. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Hoppy, roasted malt, licorice. Taste: Light to moderate sweet, over moderate bitterness. Floral and citrus hop, licorice, roasted malt. Fortunately for me the licorice is not overwhelming and quite balanced. Just below average carbonation, over medium body. Long lasting dry-ish medium bitter hoppy and licorice finish. Pretty nice.

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Fairly smooth palate, still has decent fine minerally carbonation. Nice dark malts, not heavy but smooth, slightly earthy with mildly tangy chocolate and a mellow coffee element. Some ripe fruits on the back end along with mild ripe citrus hops. Finishes light and semi dry. Yeah, digging this, quite like a Kernel Export India Porter but softer in the hop delivery. Goes down easy.

Bottle. Malty and hoppy aroma and taste, roastyness, citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy citrusy bitter finish. Good.

Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van rook, wat gebrande noten, wat port, karamel en een heel klein beetje drop en anijs smaak.
