Bottle at Het Refter, Zwolle. Nicely roasty with chocolate and coffee, some liquorice but not too much fortunately! Some soft hoppy notes. Nice bitterness, light sweet. Medium body. Dig me a roasty Export Porter like this.

Smooth mild beginning. Very dry, mild bitter. Caramel, deep coffee, bitter. Roast, dry, easy to drink with a nice crisp finish. Dry, roast, deep grainy with great bitterness. Nice stuff.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense bitter hops, pine, resins, dark brown malt. Taste of strong bitter hops, resins, pine, dark brown malt, strong body, long bitter finish.

Bottle. Very dark brown with an inch of beige head. 3+ Aroma of nectarines and oranges over chocolate, light roast, cereal and licorice. Fairly light bodied. Only slightly rich with licorice, bread and chocolate. Citrus and stone fruit. Bitterness is there but lurks a bit where it might have been a tad more decisive. Fruity hops linger. Nice enough but doesn't offer enough for its strength.

Bottle at Beermalade online tasting. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of dark malt, light chocolate, Voderate roasty notes, licorice. Taste is light roasty together with caravel, licorice, dark malt, light citrus hoppy touch. Very good.

33cl Fles. Donkerbruin tot zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, hint van leer, koffie, brownie, bruinmout, shag, hoppig, wat grapefruitschil, caramel, hint van zoethout waardoor het echt iets toevoegt en niet storend aanwezig is, bittere finish. Medium body.

Glas bij Brew @ the Zoo. Robijnrood bier met matig schuim. Aroma is houtig en rokerig. Smaak is fruitig. Nasmaak is zacht bitter en fruitig.

Geprobeerd met familie op Brew @ The Zoo. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een dun beige schuim. Het heeft een hoppige geur met duidelijke drop tonen. De smaak is vol, salmiak, drop en hoppig in de afdronk.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 27.10.2022) im 2022-06 getrunken. Dieses Porter hat im Antrunk eine leicht säuerliches Robusta-Aroma, verbranntes Getreide und eine leichte Aschenbecher Note. Es kommt recht trocken daher und die starke Röstbitterkeit hat leider keinen Ausgleich und ist mir viel zu direkt. Nicht wirklich mein Bier!
